How to record from the TV

First of all, you can use the standard VHS VCR, if you still have one in working condition. To record with it, the transfer is not difficult, but the quality is not up to par.

A better option would be to use the computer and TV-tuner.

Make sure that the antenna cable is connected to the input of the tuner, and the channels configured in the program of watching TV.

Go to the settings of the viewer and specify the important for the future of the recording data: the source (your TV tuner), where to save the file (preferably a fast hard drive with sufficient free volume), the recording format and the used codecs.

Now, everything is ready, you simply click the record button in the program interface control tuner and when transfer ends, stop recording with the stop button.

Now at your specified location on the hard drive is a video file with your favorite gear.
