Instruction
1
To begin, note that the station can be seen when it is illuminated, and the Earth (i.e. you), are in the shade. Also, choose a time when the station is on your side of the equator and the sky is covered with clouds.
2
To find out where the ISS currently, download software http://www.heavensat.ru/#links-extract and install to your computer. However, no file with information about the satellites orbits and the parameters of stars good program, so on the same page, take the archive ""SKY2000" Master Catalog, Version" and paste it in the program folder ("StarCatalogs").
3
Then download the folder with the parameters of the orbits of artificial satellites of the Earth on the websites СelesTrak.com or www.space-track.org will put it in a folder Tle in the Heavensat directory.
4
Run the program and locate the directory of the ISS, where it is called the ISS(ZARYA). Click on the tab "Earth", right click "Base satellite". Then, select the Tle file that you first downloaded (in the left). You will see all the satellites, which have information in your database.
5
Turn on the real time ("Now"), you will see how and in what direction we are moving different satellites. Look to the right of the box "source satellite" and click "custom", enter in the upper field ISS, which will result in a line ISS(ZARYA). In the other tabs, set your coordinates to see if the station is flying past you at this point.
6
Now you know where flies the ISS in a given time, and to know where it is, for example, in an hour, use the simulation mode.
7
If you did everything right, but something did not work, you can try the next option. Go to the site of mission control Center http://www.mcc.rsa.ru/trassa.htm. Here view the trajectory of the International space station in real-time.
8
Another option is the trajectory of the ISS based on Google Maps http://www.lizard-tail.com/isana/tracking/ here view the height of the station above Ground, speed, current coordinates. If you have time, and you are lucky enough, will have time to see your home from outer space.
Useful advice
In order to photograph the ISS, it is necessary to prepare in advance and stock up on very good technique, time of visibility of the station from one place usually does not exceed several minutes.
