Salting, marinating vegetables is a fairly simple matter from the point of view of a large number of people. However, in order for the pickles had a great taste and filled the kitchen causing appetite aroma, you need to be talented and to know some secrets of pickling.

Cucumber is the main ingredient of this recipe. Properly selected vegetables will provide half of success. If you don't grow the cucumbers yourself, try to buy homemade pickles from the garden. Give preference to vegetables roughly the same size, so they are well and carefully looked at banks.


To pickles crunched, it will take young vegetables. It is guaranteed not hollow inside, so, strong and juicy. Taste is more sweet and intense compared to the old instances.

Give preference to firm vegetables with smooth thin skin that does not have spikes and pimple.

For the preparation of the Bulgarian cucumbers, you will need the following ingredients:

Prepare the marinade. To do this in a large pot boil water and add 1 Cup sugar and 3-4 tablespoons of salt. As soon as the water boils, pour 350 ml of 9% vinegar.

In another large pot boil water and lower back washed cucumbers. Cook them for 3-5 minutes. Cooking necessary as long as the cucumbers will change color to emerald. Then drain the water.

Sterilize jars. At the bottom of the jars put a small amount of the following spices: peas of black pepper, allspice, cloves, Bay leaf, mustard seeds. Then, a few cloves of garlic. In pickle jars you can add greens: dill, parsley, horseradish. You can add carrots. For this purpose it is necessary to pre-boil along with the cucumbers and cut into thin slices.
