Recipe for homemade "Twix"

To prepare a Twix at home, it is necessary to take the following ingredients:
- 150 grams of flour;
- 80 grams of butter;
- 50 grams of sugar;
- 1 tablespoon of sour cream;
- 2 egg yolks;
For caramel and chocolate glaze:
- 1 ½ cans of condensed milk;
- 15 grams of butter;
- 2 tiles of chocolate milk.

First of all you need to cook the chopped shortbread dough. To do this, sift the flour and mix with salt and sugar. Very well chilled butter (preferably prior to freezing in the freezer) cut into cubes, add to flour mixture and to obtain a large crumbs chop the butter into the flour with a large, heavy knife. You can do it with the help of a food processor.

Then, well stirring, gradually add 2 egg yolks and a tablespoon of sour cream. The dough for homemade "Twix" should easy to shape, but to be thick and crumbly.

Cover the form with parchment paper and pour the prepared crumb. Flatten, tamp and pierce with a fork in several places. Then place the mold on half an hour in the fridge. After this time, move the form with the crust in a preheated 180oC oven for 20 minutes. As soon as the crust becomes a nice Golden color, remove it from the oven.
It is very important to cook the caramel the right consistency. If it is overexposed to heat, the caramel will be too hard, but if think – will spread on the cake.

Prepare the caramel and chocolate icing. Caramel pour into a heavy-bottomed pot condensed milk, add butter, put on a quiet fire and, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon or spatula, cook for 20-30 minutes. In a water bath melt the chocolate (if desired, one bar of milk chocolate you can substitute dark or bitter) and apply it on the cake on top of caramel. Then put the prepared crust in the fridge for 2 hours. When the caramel with the chocolate is a good cure, cut the homemade "Twix" bars and serve.

For making "Twix" for this recipe you will need:
- 200 grams of prepared biscuits;
- 150 grams of butter;
- 6 tablespoons cream;
- 1 Bank of condensed milk;
- 1 tablespoon of honey;
