You will need
- - data cable supplied with the camera or the card reader;

If included with the camera was a disk with drivers and software equipment, it is recommended to install software and drivers on the computer.

If you have the data cable, locate the camera connector to mini USB. Usually it is located on the side or bottom of the unit, depending on the model. Sometimes it is covered with a special protective cover.

Connect the cable one end to the camera and the other end into the USB port of the computer. Turn the camera on. We can be the following scenarios:
- your computer will automatically detect the memory card of your camera as a flash drive and open a folder of photos;
- will run any standard Windows program, designed to transfer information from your camera, or software installed specifically for a particular camera.

Following the instructions of the program, select the photos you want to transfer to computer and folder to which you want to keep them.

After copying a photo is complete, turn off the camera. Remove the cable from the connectors on the computer and the camera.

If the data cable you have, use reader. It can be built into your computer or laptop and external. If the reader is external, plug it to the computer via USB port.

Look on the camera panel, which is memory card. Often the memory card is located in the same compartment as the battery. Gently remove the card. Sometimes this requires only slight pressure on it with your finger. In some models, the camera memory card is mounted to the top special lock that needs to be pushed aside.

Select the card reader compartment, corresponding to the type of your card. Make sure that the card has been inserted correctly. The reader should illuminate the indicator light. After a while the computer will detect the camera's memory card like a flash card. Then you can, open the folder with the photos, copy photos to your computer.
Note
Probably on the software disk for your camera has a special program for viewing, processing and systematization of photo. Install it on your computer and try to learn: as a rule, such programs are intuitive and easy to use.
