If you have multiple drives or logical partitions, install the operating system on drive C, and disk D storing the data. If the disc has a user data, they should be moved to another disk.

Before you start moving data, check the available disk space, it should be enough for the migrated information. To verify, open "start" - "My computer", in the opened window will display information about the present on the computer disks and memory.

To transfer the data, open both drives – one of which is going to move, and end. If you are going to copy information, highlight the required folder with your mouse, press Ctrl and, while holding this button, drag the selected files to another disk. To move files, simply select them and then drag them with the mouse. In some versions of Windows this option can also lead to copying of information. If this happens, to move click on the file, right-click and drag while holding down the button. Release the button, a context menu will appear. Select "Move".

If you want to move a large list of files to highlight them click the first file with the mouse. Then move the cursor to the last, press Shift and hold, click on the file. The entire list of files will be highlighted. After that you can copy or move.

Selected files can be copied and moved using the menu options. Highlight the file, click the menu item "edit". In the opened list select the action "copy to folder" or "move to folder". Next, specify the intended directory and then click "Copy" or "Move".
