You will need
    • Sugar
    • Water
    • Pan
    • Molds
    • Sticks
    • For "cock on a stick" you need a little brandy and vanilla sugar
    • lemon juice and peppermint oil.

Measure the sugar and water amount of 3 parts sugar to 1 part water. Pour water in a saucepan and pour the sugar there. Heat the mixture on low heat until the sugar is all dissolved.

Add a few drops of brandy and a little vanilla sugar. Keep the mixture on heat for 1 minute. You can add food coloring. Continuously stir the mixture and make sure that sugar is not burned.

Remove the pan from the heat. Add to the mix a little bit of lemon juice and a drop of mint oil. Instead of lemon juice you can take any other citrus juice. Caramel without the citrus is too cloying.
