You will need
- 700 gr. chicken liver
- 2 bulbs
- 0.5 cups wheat flour
- 200 gr. sour cream 20 % fat
- 1 Cup water
- ground black pepper
- 2 Bay leaves
- vegetable oil for frying
Liver rinse, remove the membranes and veins. Large pieces cut in half.
Drain in a colander to glass excess fluid.
In the sifted flour add salt and black pepper.
Onions should be peeled and finely chopped.
Saute the onions in oil until Golden brown.
Bread prepared pieces of chicken liver in flour.
Fry them in a well heated pan in boiling vegetable oil for 3-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat to low and add browned onion. Close the pan with a lid.
In the cream need to add one tablespoon of flour, salt, pepper.
Stir the resulting mass, to avoid lumps.
Stir in sour cream, water, bringing the resulting sauce until smooth.
Pour sour cream sauce to the liver, increase the heat to medium.
Stirring constantly, bring cream sauce to a boil.
Add to liver in sour cream Bay leaf.
Again stir the dish, cover skillet and turn off the heat.
The dish should stand for 5-7 minutes under the lid.
Serve chicken liver in sour cream can be served with mashed potatoes, vegetables and herbs. Bon appetit!
Fry chicken livers until tender in butter on high heat in the late season with salt. It becomes very tasty if you fry separately mushrooms(slices) with onion, add the liver, pour sour cream and then a couple of minutes.
Need frying the liver or while cooking the gravy and put a little sugar or honey (1-2 teaspoons to 1/2 kg of liver), while salting the liver better at the end of cooking.
