Indeed, methods of getting rid of the scars(or scars, as they are called) there are a few, however, it is worth considering that none of them give an absolute guarantee of deliverance; with the help of methods we can only try to make the scar not so noticeable as it was before.First, the physician must determine the type of scar. It can be normal scars or atrophic scar (which, by the way, it is not recommended to operate), hypertrophic(well treatable) or keloid(an operation which can only lead to its development).
2
To make invisible atrophic scar you can use tissue filling with hyaluronic acid or with exfoliation (chemical or surface). Surface is based on fruit acids, which ensure the alignment of skin relief, improving elasticity of the skin and reduce the difference in color between the healthy, undamaged skin and skin scars. Chemical peels improve metabolism and prevent the growth of connective (scar) tissue. However, it is worth considering that chemical peeling may be carried out only after surface.
3
For hypertrophic scars perfect laser resurfacing, which is done with a special apparatus, removing the scar tissue layer by layer. After this procedure for two weeks the patient may be concerned about some soreness in the area of the scar and slight swelling. In order to avoid inflammation at the place of grinding, the doctor prescribes anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g., antibiotics, different creams) and tools that can improve local blood circulation.
4
In addition, there are various surgical operations. For example, such as plastic scar with a change in contour, excision of the scar followed by the imposition of cosmetic (intradermal) suture, plastic with a skin graft. However, before resorting to any kind of operation, it is necessary to consult with a specialist.
