To rename the community "Vkontakte" go to the main community page. Next, open the link "group Management".

In the Name field, enter the new community name. Scroll down to the bottom row and click "Save".

To change the name of the LJ community, go to the main page, select "Community", then "team Management".

In the menu on the new page, select the group Profile. On the next page in the "Identification" in the Name field, enter a new name.

To rename the group name on Facebook, go to the main page of the group. Next on the menu right in the middle of the page, click “Edit Group”. In the field “Group Name” enter the new name. Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page.
Note
When selecting a new name, consider some of the requirements. For example, if you want the community remained recognizable and covered the same issue, it needs to be a key word former names or synonyms. Example: if a community dedicated to creativity of the musical group "polar bears", you can change the name to "polar bears: a tour of the cities suburbs. Tickets are already on sale!". Another option: "polar bears aka Explorers". Over time, the group can fully be renamed "Polar"
