Instruction
1
Before beginning the repair, remove the damaged bumper from the vehicle. Wash it from dirt with a water jet with detergent and allow to dry. Prepare car or a building dryer and make him a special nozzle with a small hole of 5 mm by using a large sandpaper or knife to cut the recess in the bumper for better welding.
2
Take a piece of plastic and heating it with a Hairdryer, begin to seal the crack first with one and then with the other hand. For greater reliability can seal the damaged area with metal straps. Heat the bracket with a soldering iron and gently vplate it in the bumper, turning down the ends inside.
3
Strip the bumper on the outside, zashpaklyuyte polyester putty and primed with a special primer for plastic. At the end of the repair, using a spray bottle or spray gun, apply bumper paint (3 layers).
4
It is possible to fix a cracked bumper with the help of a fine mesh. Cut it into small pieces about the size of 10x50 mm. Take masking tape and secure them to the damaged area from the outside, pinning the crack as tightly as possible. Heat the first piece of the mesh and carefully solder it to the bumper, then the second and so on throughout the crack. Wait until things cool off, and in case you need a little touch up sealed area.
5
Another way is the use of liquid plastic. Purchase liquid plastic that will best match the type of plastic bumper. Clean the crack with sandpaper and make a small V-shaped groove with the disc and drills. Take fiberglass masking tape and seal it crack from the front side.
6
Then in a shallow container, mix thickener and adhesive mass, and apply this mixture on the tape. When all dry, gently remove the tape, clean damaged area and apply a liquid plastic. When it hardens, sand the surface and proceed to paint.
