With relevant documents, law enforcement can request information about the user activity on the network provider. Individuals this way are not available, therefore only hope that in the browser installed on the computer, preserved information about visited sites. In different browsers the menu items and commands may be named differently, but the meaning they have is the same. Taken as example the Mozilla Firefox browser.

Start a browser and open the window "Library". To do this, click the "Log" select "Show all history". In the left part of the window that opens, put the cursor on the item "Log". In the Central part shows the periods over which you can view the history of visited sites. Another option: click on the [ + ] icon located in the "Log" to expand the branch available for viewing periods.

Click with the left mouse button on the desired period (current or previous day, seven-day or one-month period). In the ongoing list, all resources will be presented in order of priority, from the last visited site to the first. To go to a specific website, click on its address twice with the left mouse button.

The magazine also contains information about the files that were uploaded by a user. To view them, click on "Download" in the window "Library". To re-download the file and view it, double-click any resource with the left mouse button. Information about uploaded files can be obtained in another way: in your browser menu "Tools" select "Download", a new window will open with names and file formats as well as indicating the time when they were loaded.

To erase traces of their presence in the Internet, you can use the command "clear recent history" in the menu "Tools", select the desired items ("Active sessions", "logs and downloads", "form history and search"), click on the "Clear now" and confirm your action.
