First, use a standard method to specify the size of an opened window in Internet Explorer 8. Open the context menu of Internet Explorer, click the right mouse button in the task bar and repeat the same action in the drop-down list of line Internet Explorer. Select "Properties" in the opened submenu, and apply the check box on the "Maximized" in the properties dialog box. Apply changes by pressing the OK button.

Try alternative methods. Open any Internet Explorer window smaller and drag the border of the window to the full of expansion, do not use the button "Enlarge". Press the function key Ctrl and, without releasing it, click "file" in the upper service panel of Windows Internet Explorer. Enter the command "Terminate", but do not use the button [X] in the upper right corner of the window to exit the application. Check the dimensions of the opening Windows or replace function key Ctrl Shift a, if the size has not changed.

Start Internet Explorer and open the context menu of any link on the open page, click the right mouse button to use the following method. Enter the command "Open in new window" and return to the first open browser window. Shut down and manually drag the edges of the remaining window of the Internet browser to the desired size. Do not use the button "Enlarge", as such changes are not saved by the system. Press the function key Ctrl and, without releasing it, click "file" in the upper service panel of Windows Internet Explorer. Enter the command "Terminate", but do not use the button [X] in the upper right corner of the window to exit the application for the same reasons.
