Click "start" to bring up the main menu of the Windows operating system and navigating to "All programs" to run the procedure convert the selected table into text document format.

Expand Microsoft Office and then run Excel and Word.

Open you want to convert a table in Excel and select the needed part or the entire table.

Expand the menu "table" in the top toolbar of the application window and enter the command "Convert" (for Microsoft Word version 2003).

Use "Table to text" in the drop down menu and apply the checkbox for the desired field separator in the dialog box. It should be remembered that selecting "paragraph Mark" data of the transformed table will be separated by paragraphs, and the option of "tab" will allow you to convert the table into a single partition. Press the space or hyphen if you choose "Other".

Confirm application of the selected changes by pressing the OK button (Microsoft Office version 2003).

Select to be converted to a text format of the string required table or the entire table, and call its context menu click the right mouse button (for Microsoft Office version 2007).

Point to "Layout" and then click "Data" in the opened submenu.

Use the option "Convert to text" and apply the check box for the desired field separator in the dialog box. Confirm application of the selected changes by pressing the OK button (for Microsoft Word version 2007).

Highlight the selected table and open menu "edit" of the top toolbar of the application window in Excel 2010.

Enter the Copy command to save the table to the clipboard and go to Word.

Choose a location to save the new text document and open menu "edit" of the top toolbar of the oen application-Word 2010.

Point to "paste Special" and select the option "Microsoft Excel Worksheet (the object)".

Confirm application of the selected changes by pressing the OK button (Microsoft Office version 2010).
