Use MKVtoolnix to remove audio track from a file in mkv format and not lose quality videospace. Launch the app, open the video file using the menu command "File" – "Open", then select the folder and select the movie. The selected video will appear in the program window.

Run the program Virtual Dub Mod, then drag the file into the app window, run the command Streams – Stream list, then select left click the trackyou want to remove and click Disable. Next, click "OK".
