How to copy from the archive

Many files online are distributed as archives. It is understandable, after all, much easier to "cram" it all in one folder than to distribute a large number of small files. Also an advantage of archives is that files that were backed up, takes up less space than the original data. All this allowed them to become a common way of storing information. And the ability to copy data from archive is necessary and important for each user. To work with third party utilities are used different software developers. And one of the most popular tools archivemi, at the moment, is the program "WinRAR".

Instruction

1. Run the utility WinRAR. This can be done by double-clicking the program icon on the desktop in the start menu or by default in the installed folder "C:Program FilesWinRAR"
2. Open your desired files. To the top of the screen, in the row horizontal menu, select "File" and then in the popup list, select "Open archive". A window will appear "Search archive". After the necessary archive is found, click the "Open" button. In the main program window displays a list of files of archive. Tip: this window open the files by clicking "Ctrl+O".
3. Select to copy files. To highlight files that are coming one after another, you must first select the file of the beginning of the list, then hold down the Shift key and hold while clicking on the last file of the list. To highlight a single hosted files replace "Shift" with "Ctrl".
4. Copy the files to the clipboard. To do this, select the menu item "File" and there the item "Copy files to clipboard". Hint: can also extract the files from the archiveby pressing the button in the menu "Extract files". In the opened window, select the path to extract the files. There you can set additional options for retrieval from archive.
5. Paste the files to the right place. Run "My computer". Navigate to it's folder. Click the left mouse button in a free space, and then, on the shortcut menu, select "Paste" or press the keyboard shortcuts "Ctrl+V". All necessary files will be copied.
