For starters, think of the password that you do in the future will not forget. If necessary, write it down on a piece of paper, but then don't keep your notes close to your computer to avoid setting the password will have no meaning.

Call up the "control Panel" via "start menu". In the category of "user Accounts" or select the task "Change an account" or click "user Accounts". A new window will open.

In the first field "Enter new password" enter the password you'll use when logging into the system. In the second field, "Type the password to confirm" again enter the password you just entered. Please note that in this case are case-insensitive (writing uppercase and lowercase letters).

The third field is not obligatory to fill. However, if you are not sure that you can quickly remember the password, use this box to create clues. Please note that the hint will be visible to all users who try to log in.

Click on the "Create password". You will be prompted to make your files and folders private. Read explanation explaining why this is necessary and select one of the options: either "Yes, make them personal," or "No".

The creation of the password is completed. The next time you log on, type a password in the password field and click Log in. If you use a screen saver, you can enhance your computer's security.
