A burial allowance in 2016 are paid out to the relatives who have taken on the responsibility of organizing the funeral. Funds can be received:
- pension if the deceased was on pension;
- in the FSS - if was employed;
- in the bodies of social protection - for disabled persons and non-pensioners;
- at the place of work - if the deceased was a minor member of the family.
For payments to the competent authorities must apply within six months after death. The benefit shall be transferred to the Bank account of the applicant.
The benefit for burial is paid in the amount actually incurred for funeral expenses upon presentation of supporting documents (checks, BSO for payment of services). However, the state is set to the upper limit of compensable costs burial.
In 2016, the Government decided not to index the allowance for burial. As a result, it will remain at the level of 2015 and will be 5277,28 R. In this allowance will be paid until the beginning of 2017. However, in some regions where the local area ratio, a burial allowance is paid in a larger size.
