Canned sardines are most often used as a self-starter, however, or fresh fish you can cook the patties, lettuce, oil mixture, homemade mayonnaise. You can try to make DIY canned with tomato sauce. With anchovies turns out very tasty and rich soup in the slow cooker.

Soup with anchovies in a slow cooker



For borscht you need:
- 1 can of sardines in tomato sauce;
- 4 potatoes;
- 1 onion;
- 1 carrot;
- 300 cabbage;
1 small beet;
- 1.5 cups of grated tomatoes;
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste;
- 2 teaspoons of sugar;
- 2.5 liters of hot water;
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil;
- salt, pepper, spices, dill to taste.

Chop the onion, put it in a bowl multivarki and pour vegetable oil. Select the mode "roasting" and turn it on for 7-8 minutes. Then add the shredded carrot and beets and cook in the same mode for another 10 minutes.

Cut into small cubes the potatoes and put it in the vegetables, pour hot water, salt, and select the mode "stewing" for hours. 45-50 minutes, add shredded cabbage.

Mix tomato paste with mashed tomato and dilute the mixture a small amount of water. Then pour it into a saucepan, season with spices, salt and sugar and bring to a boil. Add the seasoning in the soup along with cabbage. Mix well and put in soup pilchards.

It remains to sprinkle the soup with pepper and dill. The finished dish, leave in the slow cooker with the lid closed for another quarter of an hour.

Sprat spicy salted



Very easy to make a delicious salted pilchards. You will need:
- 1 kg of fresh sardines;
- a quarter teaspoon coriander seeds;
- 3 tablespoons with a small hill of salt;
- teaspoon of black pepper;
- 5 pieces of black peas allspice;
- 3 Bay leaves;
- pinch of ground ginger;
4 clove Bud.

Remove sprats head, gut and rinse well with running water. Prepare zasolochny mixture. To do this, the mortar is not quite the finely chop herbs and mix with salt. Salt should not be iodized. To prepare this oil, you will need:
- 100 g of purified spicy salted sprat;
- 80 g of softened room temperature butter;
- dill and parsley;
- 1 small onion;
- salt to taste.

Onions and herbs, cut, add butter and pilchards. Whisk everything until smooth using a blender, if necessary sunflower.
