You will need
  • - a piece of clean dry tissue or cloth;
  • rack or pit;
  • - capacity of not less than 3 liters;
  • - socket with "13";
  • special syringe for topping up oil (if it is not, use a medical syringe or a pear to enemas).

Before you check the oil level in the engine or transmission Daewoo Nexia prepare a piece of clean dry tissue or cloth.

Level check engine oil pull out the dipstick and wipe it dry with a prepared cloth. Insert the dipstick back into the hole until it stops and remove it. Now look closely at the oil and make sure it is not excessively dirty, and there are no impurities. Make sure that the oil level on the dipstick is between the "MIN" and "MAX". If the oil level is low refill it.

To check the oil level in the gearbox is somewhat more complicated than in the engine, so as constructively to the transaxle Daewoo Nexia is not provided for the dipstick.

In order to check the oil level in the transmission, put your car on the trestle, or "the pit". Lock the car using the Parking brake.

Clean and dust the surface of the transmission case near the Bay tube and put tube under the Bay, the capacity of not less than 3 liters.

Unscrew the cap of the Bay, using a socket to "13".

Now insert your finger into the resulting hole. You have to touch the oil surface. Otherwise, the oil level in the gearbox is insufficient.

If the oil level is below the edge of holes Bay, then take a special syringe (if it is not suitable medical syringe or pear to enemas) and bring it to the required standards.

Repeat the steps in step 7.

Allow the excess oil to flow out of holes Bay, then wipe the surface next to it and plug Bay.

Screw the plug Bay with a ring spanner on "13".
