Develop and draw a diagram of your future water supply. Include all components: filters, valves, tees, corners, faucets, counters (if you're going to install them). Note also a washing machine and dishwasher.

Visit plumbing shop and buy everything you need, referring to the circuit. Buy pipe and fittings from one manufacturer. There you will be able to buy the missing tools.

Shut off cold and hot water in the apartment. Start disassembly of the old plumbing (if any). In any order you disconnect all plumbing and remove the tubing.
