1
Most polymer clay hardens at a high temperature, so they should be baked for removing material from the plasticizer. Some polymer clay hardens in the air. Working with polymer clay in various techniques, creating the effect of glass, porcelain, ivory, clay, plastic and many other materials.
2
Before to sculpt the product, thoroughly knead the piece of clay of the desired color by hand to give it plasticity. If you have never molded articles of the clay, start to exercise on modeling a simple round beads. Roll out the piece of plastic, cut the sheet into squares and roll each square into a small ball.
3
Before baking beads need to put toothpicks to keep them in the hole. You can make beads from plastic as a single color, and to mix two or three colors to get a beautiful divorces.
4
Having mastered the modelling of beads, try to sculpt the product in engineering "caning by using any master class, found in the network. The essence of the method lies in the fact that the plastic flowers need rolled into thin sausages, and sausages laid out the picture that should appear on the cut finished products. The finished part is assembled from several sausages, compressed and stretched, and then cut into equal size pieces that you can use for any purpose.
5
Also on the pieces of plastics, you can make beautiful textures with prints, if you have the proper stamps. Long and thin products, in particular dolls, you need to sculpt on the basis of the wire frame.
6
When your product is ready, proceed to the important step, which is roasting figures. Ensure that the oven temperature closely match the temperature for baking, which are in the instructions for your polymer clay.
7
Never raise the temperature of the oven more than 175 degrees, otherwise the plastic will start to melt and release toxic smoke. If the temperature is below the critical but above recommended plastic, the risk of burn and change color.
8
Bake product, maintaining the correct temperature, then completely cool it. When the product has cooled completely, you can work with it further – treated with sandpaper or a file, painting, polishing, varnishing and so on. To paint the product with the best acrylic paints.
