Advice 2 : How to increase screen refresh rate

Next in the wizard the upgrade of equipment, select the item “install from a list or specific location” and specify the CD-RОМ. The installation program will automatically find and install the necessary software. Wait for it to finish, restart the computer, after which the frequency of update of the monitor will be restored.

The screen refresh rate (flicker) is measured in Hertz. The higher the refresh rate, the less the screen flickers. On LCD monitors in the setup screen refresh rate is not necessary. But tube monitors, the knowledge of how to increase the Hertz, may be required.

Then from the drop-down menu for "screen refresh rate" select the desired mode (60 Hz, 70 Hz, 72 Hz and so on) – set the desired frequency by clicking on the appropriate item with the left mouse button. Click "Apply". Desktop configuration changes. Confirm the command by clicking in the window that appears, click Yes. To exit setup mode, press the "OK" button in the properties window for the module connection of the monitor and then the display properties window or click the "X" in the upper right corner of the window.
