On the website Gismeteo the most frequently requested IDs are four-digit, and the rest five ones. First, try to find the name of the desired town or settlement on the home page. If this does not work, type the appropriate query in the field above the list, and then click "Search". In the list of results, click the first link. When load the page with information about the weather in your city, take a look at your browser's address bar - the URL should end in a number. This is the ID.

The Website "Yandex.Weather" previously used five-digit numeric codes of a fixed length. After the upgrade it began to use alphabetic identifiers. To find out which letter code matches your city or locality, first click on "Other city", then select first country, then region, then city. You can also type its name in the box at the top of the page, and then press the "Find" button. After going to the page of the city or locality ID will also become part of the URL in the browser address bar.

Resource "Погода@Mail.Ru" the letter also uses the IDs of the cities. The process of finding them is similar to that described above with respect to the site "Yandex.Weather." Instead of clicking on the link "Other town" for a list of settlements, click "Choose city".
