Instruction
1
First, if both of the laptop have access to the Internet, you can simply send files by e-mail from one laptop and get them on the other.
2
There are plenty of opportunities to connect laptop to the Internet with a simple modem, mobile modem, mobile phone, GPRS, leased line, wi-fi. However, this method of file transfer is not appropriate if the file size is very large, and break it down into small component parts is impossible or inconvenient.
3
In this case the second method.
It is to create a local network consisting of two laptops.
4
First we need to make sure that both laptopx has built-in network card, otherwise create a local network will be impossible. If the network card is not present, you can purchase it and embed it, if the design of the laptop allows it. Also needed a network cable with the proper connectors, usually USB-connector.
5
Connecting the network cable to both laptopm, open "my Network places", click "network setup Wizard". If you have installed Windows XP operating system, Network environment, press the "Set home or small office network".
6
Following the intuitive installation wizard, you can easily create a local network. When in the folder "my Network places" icon will appear in the second notebookby double-clicking on it, you will see the filesavailable on the second laptop.
7
In Explorer, highlight the file, press Copy, navigate to the desired folder on your laptop and click "Paste". The selected files will be copied from one notebook to another.
