The easiest way to transfer data from laptop to laptop is to use USB drive. This can be a USB flash drive or portable hard drive. Connect it to the first PC or laptop, transfer it the required files. Set up a direct wired connection between the laptops. Connect the laptops using a network cable. Open the LAN settings on any laptop. Select the properties of TCP/IP(v4). Activate the checkbox "Use the following IP address" and fill in the first field. Do the same operation on the second laptop, changing the last (fourth) segment of IP address. For access to the laptop, press Win+R and enter: \IP address.

If you are not satisfied with a wired connection option, then connect the laptops wirelessly. Open the control center network and sharing. Select "manage wireless networks". Click "add" and select "create a network the computer-computer". Click "next". Enter the name of the future network and password to connect to it. The data transfer speed can reach 100 Mbps.

Turn on the second laptop. Activate and search for wireless networks. Select the one that you just created and then connect to it by entering the required password.
