You will need

    • 4 cod fillets;
    • 1/4 Cup breadcrumbs;
    • 1/4 Cup grated Parmesan cheese;
    • 1 teaspoon Basil;
    • 1 teaspoon of oregano;
    • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper;
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil;
    • 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil;
    • 1 egg white.
    • Fish & chips
    • 1 kg cod fillet;
    • 2 cups flour;
    • 1 egg;
    • 1/2 Cup of milk;
    • 1/2 Cup beer;
    • 1/2 tablespoon of salt;
    • 5 glasses of vegetable oil;
    • 4 large potatoes.
Defrost cod fillets in advance by moving at night from the freezer into the refrigerator.
Fish in Polish

Thawed cod fillets dry with paper towels, sprinkle with lemon juice and put on for 15-20 minutes. During this time, boil and cool eggs. In a deep pan pour water and bring it to a boil, add salt, pepper, Bay leaf. Put the cod fillets and boil for 20-25 minutes on medium heat. Put fillet on a plate, cover with a lid and cook the sauce. Boiled eggs, chop as for coleslaw. In a saucepan melt the butter, add a few tablespoons of fish broth and lemon juice, put chopped eggs. Warm the sauce and pour over fish fillets. Garnish with chopped dill. Usually fish in Polish serve with mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes, but tasty this dish without garnish.
Cod baked with bread crumbs

Preheat the oven to 170°C. In a bowl mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan, oregano and Basil, add pepper and salt, pour olive oil and mix again. Whisk lightly whisk egg white. Dip each fillet in beaten egg white, put on a pre-laid parchment paper baking sheet. On each fillet place an even layer on a tablespoon of dry bread mix. Place baking sheet in the oven and bake the cod for 10-15 minutes until the crumbs get Golden. Serve with lettuce.
Fish & chips

Popular old English dish of fish and chips, traditionally prepared cod.

Peel potatoes and cut into slices with a thickness of 1 centimeter across tubers. If potatoes are not very old, can not cut the skin, and only to wash it and cut the eyes.
