When working with a desktop computer, you can quickly change the boot options for that device. Turn on PC and hold the Delete key. In some models of motherboards you need to press that button. Wait a short time until it will boot directly into the BIOS menus.

Find the responsible for the parameters of the boot devices. Usually it's called Boot Options or Boot Device. Sometimes this menu can be located in the Advanced Setup. Go to First Boot Device, highlight the device Internal DVD-Rom and press Enter.

Press the Escape key to return to the main menu screen of the BIOS. Highlight Save and press Enter. Open the drive tray. Insert the installation disc for the operating system. Close the BIOS menu or just restart the computer by pressing the Reset button.

After some time the system starts reading the DVD. Wait until the display shows the message Press any key to boot from CD. Be sure to hit the random key, otherwise the boot disk will fail.

When working with some motherboard models, you can quickly select a boot device. This is useful in cases when you need to start the computer from the installation disc. Turn on PC and hold F8. After some time the display shows a list of the available loading equipment.

Select the desired item, e.g. Internal DVD-Rom. Press Enter and click on any key after an appropriate inscription.

If you are using an external DVD drive, it may not be displayed in the quick menu selection device. In this case, go in the BIOS and the First Boot Device select the External DVD-Rom or USB DVD-Rom.
