How to enable CD autorun

Autorun is the built-in Windows application that allows you to specify a program that will automatically open the media file on removable media. For example, when you first play the DVD movies, the app will prompt you on which player to use by default. Subsequently, the playback of the movie starts immediately when you turn on the drive. For each type of multimedia content AutoPlay is configured separately. In order to configure AutoPlay for all types of files, you must perform the following procedure.

Instruction

Click "start". Select "control Panel". In the window that opens scroll to the "Hardware and sound". Click "AutoPlay".

Check the line: "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices". This action will turn on the AutoPlay feature.

For each type of files, use a program that will open it by default.

For example, MP3 music files, you can select Windows Media Pleer, Winamp or any other installed player.

Click "Save".

Note

AutoPlay does not always work, if the active window is open any multimedia program.
