From the desktop click once with the right mouse button on the icon "My computer" from the drop-down menu, select "Properties" and click any mouse button. Dialog box appears – this is the window "Properties of system".

If you can't find on your desktop icon "My computer", set it from view. To do this, click the right mouse button on any blank area of the desktop, in the drop-down menu, select "Properties" and click any mouse button. The open dialog window "Properties: the Screen". In this window click the tab "desktop" and click "customize desktop" at the bottom of the window.

Additionally in the window "desktop Items" on the "General" tab find the section "desktop Icons". Set the marker in the field next to the inscription "My computer". Click OK in the dialog elements in the properties window click "Apply". The new settings will take effect. Close the properties window by clicking the OK button or the X icon in the upper right corner of the window. The icon "My computer" should appear on the desktop.

If you do not have the icon "My computer" on the desktop, call the window "Properties of system" from "control Panel". To do this, click "start" and select "setting" - "control Panel". If the panel is in classic view, select the System icon immediately. If the panel is displayed by category, find the desired icon under "Performance and maintenance" and click on it with the left mouse button – so you call the window "Properties of system".

To obtain information about your computer you can also from Windows "help and support". To do this, click with the left mouse button anywhere on the desktop and press F1. With the help of the search box or in "Index" scroll to "Information on this computer", click on "Show General information about the system, wait for the completion of data collection.
