For stable operation, Windows needs the Unallocated space to system partition on the hard disk. Typically, to release free space use the function "Cleaning diskand" allowing to remove unused and temporary data files. When not enough data is simply moved to other sections of the hard drive. For starters use the standard facilities of Windows system.

Click on "My computer" and select the folder in which the desired files. Just right click the file you want to move, and in the ensuing menu, select "Cut". Now open the folder on the local drivee to D, you want to save the file.

Right click mouse on empty area of the Explorer window and select "Paste". Wait until the file is moved. Similarly, transfer other files to the disk D.

If you want to ease the process of moving the files, then download and install Total Commander. Run this utility. Display in the left window of the program folder to a local diskand the right disk,and D. Navigate to the files you want to move to another section. In the right window select the folder to store roaming files.

Now select the data you want. Hold Ctrl and click on the desired file with the left mouse button. Press F6 after selecting all the necessary files. Confirm to start the process of moving data, pressing the Enter key.

Remember that this method is not suitable for system files. If you need to move all files of Windows and associated programs on a different partition the diskand then install the Partition Manager. Run the utility, click the "Wizard" and select the function "Copy partition". Follow the step-by-step to the utilities menu. After creating copy of a local diskC and delete the original files.
