You will need
- - 1 kg of cherries;
- - 2 tbsp instant gelatin;
- - 700 g of sugar.
First you need to remove with the berries all the tails and fill it with cold water. Leave the cherries in the water for approximately 2 hours. This is necessary in order to remove from the berries of insects, which you might not notice, fingering cherry.
To prepare the berries in jelly will need cherries, pitted. After draining the cherries with the water, you can begin to remove them, armed with a safety pin or regular pin for the hair.
After the cherries pitted are prepared, put it in a large container for jam, because during cooking will produce foam, and therefore, the dishes must be filled with cherry no more than half. Connect the gelatin with sugar, add berries and mix everything carefully. Put a bowl of berries in a cool place for about 12 hours to cherry juicy.
When will the fullness of time, put the dishes with cherries on the fire, bring to boil and cook for about 3-5 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly and removing the resulting foam.
Turn off the heat, remove the cherries from the remnants of the foam and place the berry on a clean, dry sterilized banks. Now cherries in a jelly can be squashed.
Flip the banks with cherry jelly covers down and wrap them leaving until the morning. Banks will be cooled down in the cellar, or store in a dark pantry.
Cherry jelly can be used for making cottage cheese desserts and sweet pastries.
