Reduction of resistance to diseases in fish is manifested when the temperature of the water. It promotes the growth of bacteria that cause fin rot.

Upon detection of cases of the inhabitants of the aquarium, you need to replace water by 30% and bring the water temperature back to normal, perfect for the content. If guppy "live" with other fishes, it should be at the time of treatment to transplant into another container. Medication is held for all the inhabitants of the aquarium, or individually.

Dissolve 1 tablet of chloramphenicol in 20 liters of water. Pre "Chloramphenicol" we need to grind into powder and mix with a small amount of water. The medicine to be poured into the aquarium with fish. This must be done 3 days. At the same time to do water change, add medication to cure the fish.

Treatment with soap. You need 1.5 g of powder dissolved in ten liters of water and pour into the aquarium. Hold guppies in a solution of no more than 30 minutes. This procedure is carried out 1-2 times per day, 4-5 days.

Salty bath. Dissolve in 6-7 liters of water 3 teaspoons of salt and keep the fish for 20 minutes. To use salt, in any case not iodized.

Also treatment is possible with drugs such as "Bitsillin 5", "Furacilin", "Biseptol".
