Instruction
1
Go to "control Panel" (via start menu) and run the section "user Accounts". In this section system settings displays all users of your computer. Click on the icon own accounts. Click on the words "create a password for your account" to go to the password setup window. A new window will open in which you will need to enter intended password twice (second time for confirmation). Be sure to fill in the field "Prompt for password", as after a long break in using a computer you may forget the password.
2
To set a password for your account another way. Type in "Run" (this element is also in the menu "start") control userpasswords2 and confirm with enter. In the window that appears, check the box "users must enter a user name and password" and set a password for the account. Disable all other accounts or ask for each password. If you leave, at least one account enabled without a password, a stranger may enter the system through it.
3
Restart the computer to test your changes. Once in the boot process, the system arise a welcome window, where you have to choose user and enter password. There is also a special software that allows you to set passwords, however, not on the program, and folders on a personal computer. You can throw in the folder of the desired programs and files, setting a difficult password. As practice shows, the passwords in operating systems no special role to play, as any system can be hacked. Try to keep copies of important data on removable media, and use antivirus software.
