How to remove the Windows theme

To go to the list of installed themes you can click the right mouse button on empty area of the desktop. After that in the appeared context menu select "Personalize". To access the list of schemes you can also go to menu "start" - "control Panel" - "appearance and personalization" - "Windows Themes".

In the window that appears you will see a list of installed in the system presets. Right-click the list item that you want to remove, and then appeared among the parameters, click "Remove". After a few seconds the data will be completely removed.

Download the desired theme, you can use the official Microsoft website which presents a large number of free and available to download skins. To install the file, double click on it with the left mouse button and in the popup list under the "Personalization" select the newly downloaded theme.

To change the parameters of the established circuit, you can also use the functions located at the bottom of the list of design elements. Click on the "desktop Background" if you want to change the background of the current theme or ask your own pattern. Using "window Color" you can choose the color scheme used in the system, and to adjust the desired transparency settings. To change sound events, click on the "Sounds". To change the screen saver also use the corresponding key.

You can save of the configuration in a separate file by specifying the name of the created design. After you change the settings in the above paragraphs in the Personalization window will appear in the "My themes". To save the changes for future use, click "Save theme", then enter any name and click "Save".
