First, you have to install in your browser the Adblock Plus extension, you can do it on the website adblockplus.org/ru or on the store page of the extension on your browser. This extension, by the way, I advise you to put in any case. It will allow you to get rid of the annoying advertising on the Internet.

Consider how to use this extension to remove the block "people You may know" on the example of Google Chrome browser (other browsers the solution is similar). So, after you have installed the Adblock Plus extension, go to its settings.

Select "Personal filters". Copy the line:
facebook.com##div[class="megaphone_location_home"]
in the empty field and press "Add filter".

Then also add the line:
facebook.com###pagelet_ego_pane_w
Now, after refreshing the page facebook.com annoying unit will not.
