How to withdraw superglue from clothes

Most manufacturers of adhesives are recommended to use acetone to remove drops, accidentally caught in the clothing. However, it should be remembered that this method of removing superglue is not suitable for synthetic clothes and also for delicate and colored fabrics.

Fabric having a coarse weave, can be cleaned from superglue after it is completely dry. For this you need a little "beat off" the dried spot by tapping it with the handle of a knife or other similar object, and then gently remove the glue with a sewing needle. Wash the area with hot water and then wash the clothes the usual way.

Fresh stains from the superglue can be removed with a mixture of acetone and a 10% solution of nitromethane. Before you apply the solution on the stain, test it on a small area of tissue.

For removing adhesive from delicate fabrics, use vinegar solution. Dilute one tablespoon of vinegar in a glass of water and thoroughly wash it. Then rinse the clothing in cool water and wash it in the usual way.

Another common method of cleaning is the removal of superglue with a cold. Place contaminated thing in the freezer for a few hours. Carefully remove the frozen glue with a knife.

To remove the stain from the glue of poor quality Chinese-made with plain water. Soak spoiled thing in hot water for a few hours. Gently usablity glue residue. Wash in the usual way.

Take a rag and soak it with gasoline. Carefully wipe a fresh stain from glue. Unfortunately, therefore, you can only remove fresh stains.
