Before shielded cable, think if you can do without this procedure. Consider, in particular, the possibility of moving one of the stages from the input device to the output. In this case, the level of the signal transmitted on the cable will increase, and the sensitivity of the input device is reduced. As a result, the ratio of the amplitude signal to the same interference figure will change so that the impact of interference is reduced.

Unplug devices that are cable connected. Disconnect the cable from each of them.

If the cable has no overall sheath, inside of which stretched all the wires, wrap it with no gaps of conventional tape to get a shell.

Take an ordinary aluminum foil for food storage. Wind the outer cable sheath, leaving neobetanin sections with a length of 1.5 cm from each of the connectors.

Next to each of the connectors wrap the foil around twenty turns of bare tinned wire, stretching the turns of the coil a few inches. Print it out on a small length.

Completely wrap the makeshift screen with another layer of tape, leaving no gaps.

Connect the screen with the housings of both devices, with the exception of cases when it is unacceptable on rules of safety. In the second case, connect it to the case of only one of the devices. What is set empirically and minimum interference. In no case do not touch simultaneously output the screen of the device housing to which it is not connected, and the housings of both devices.

Never use any shielded cable is coaxial, and to transmit significant currents or voltages. Especially in any case do not allow the passage of significant currents through the screen.
