Follow these steps to open a folder with access denied. Check the permissions for the folder, you can do so: open the context menu on the folder, select "Properties". Go to the tab "Security", select the "Group or user names", click the desired user name to display the existing permissions. In order to open the folder to which you are denied access, select the read permission. Next, click "Apply".

Log in to the system account "Administrator" to get access to the closed folder. Next, click "start" to enter the main menu, select "My computer". Go to menu "Tools", select "folder options", tab "View". Check the box next to "Simple General access to files", click "OK".

Boot the system using disk LiveCD. In the next operating system, all folders will be available. Open the folder with restricted access, copy all that it contains, in a new folder, it is advisable to create it on another disk or even on a flash drive.

If the folder contains other folders, they too can be blocked, for their content too, you need to create new directories. Transfer only the files with them. Remove all old folder and the new name must be different, in any case, do not assign new folders with the old names. Restart the system and boot from the hard drive. Now you can open a directory with restricted access.

Check your system for viruses for the error with the access to the folder can occur because of such viruses like Virus.VBS.Small.a and others. Check the registry, namely section section HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion/Winlogon, Userinit value should be: system32/userinit.exe.

Open the disks on your computer in the "Explorer" pre-in "folder Properties" show hidden items. Browse through the drives and check for any autorun.**** . If you find such file, delete it and reboot the system.
