How to make a word a link

Basics of HTML-hypertext markup language documents currently required not only for web-masters, but many LJ-users, and other users of the blogosphere. Knowing HTML, you can spice up your text with links to other resources.

Instruction

Use the visual editor in order to make a word in the text with links to other resources.

Copy the address to which you will refer, to the clipboard.

Highlight the word that you want to make a hyperlink.

Click on the "Insert/edit link" (depicted usually in the form of closed links of the chain). A new window will open.

In the window that appears fill in the fields: paste the address, enter the title you specify in which window to open the link in the original or in the new. Save the changes.

Use HTML tags if you want to make a word a hyperlink manually.

Paste it into the HTML format the following: <a href="http://ссылка" title="the text that you will see when you hover over the link" target="how to open a _blank link in a new window or _self - in the source window">word reference </a>. Save the changes.
