First, you need to create a bootable USB drive that will be able to run before loading the operating system. To do this, download the program WinSetupFromUSB.

To successfully record the operating system and additional software recovery you will need to have ISO image Windows XP installation CD and LiveCD suitable for this OS. Create these images using Alcohol or Daemon Tools.

Run the program WinSetupFromUSB. Select the required USB drive (flash drive) and click BootIce. Again select the drive and click Perform Format.

In the window that appears, select USB-HDD mode (Multiple Partition). Click Next Step. Select the type of file system which will format the USB drive. Press the OK button. Wait until you finish creating the boot sector.

Remove all files stored in the prepared ISO images in two separate folders. Go to the window WinSetupFromUSB program. In the first paragraph Windows 2000/XP/2003, specify the path to the folder where the files are stored Windows XP operating system.

In the fourth paragraph PartedMagic/Other G4D specify the folder that contains the archives of the LiveCD. Press the GO button to record these files on a USB drive. Wait until the process of creating a bootable USB drive.

Then restart the computer. Press F8 and select boot from your USB drive. From the menu Grub4Dos, select the required option and continue booting. This may be a new Windows XP installation or running of programs written with the LiveCD. Use existing on the flash drive utility to run the restore process the Windows XP operating system.
