To the Hermitageand you can reach the following public transport:Metro. Need a ride to the station "Nevsky prospect" and climb through the exit of the metro station "Canal Griboedova". Further, any walk along Nevsky Prospekt to Palace square or trolleybuses № 1, 10, 22.The Museum can be reached by taxi. The majority of buses on Nevsky Prospekt go to the Hermitage. The state Hermitage Museum is open from 10:30 to 18:00 from Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday from 10:30 to 17:00. On Monday the Museum is closed. It should be remembered that the ticket office closes one hour before closing time. Keep this in mind and plan your trip to the Museum with this in mind. During school holidays and especially summer in the Hermitage there are long queues, they are moving fast enough, but prepare to have to stand up.

The ticket price – 400 rubles. For Russian citizens preferential price - 100 rubles. Citizens of Belarus can also take advantage of this benefit. You need to be prepared to present your passport to confirm citizenship. All children of preschool age and pupils and students, regardless of nationality are entitled free entrance to the Museum, you just need to show the cashier your student or a student card.
