You will need
  • To record music from the Internet or any other audio source (film, audiobook, etc.) you will need a program to capture the sound. It can be FairStars Recorder, All Sound Editor, All Sound Recorder or any similar program. To download programs on the official websites of developers: www.fairstars.com and www.mp3do.com.

If you have used FairStars Recorder, run the program while playing a musical composition. Click on the Rec Option and select the Record Device set to "Stereo mixer". Close the settings box and click the Record/Play – Record. Enter the name of the file to which to write the music and then select the folder where you want this file to save. Click OK. Recording will begin automatically. To stop recording press the Stop button. Now you can open the saved file and recorded.

If you choose All Sound Editor, here your actions will be easier. Run the program and click the menu File – New. When playing music you want to record, press the Record button (red circle). To stop recording press the Stop button (blue square). Now save the file by selecting File – Save as – MP3.

If you downloaded and installed the program All Sound Recorder, then running the program, click the icon to Create New Recording Work. In the opened settings box, enter a file name and optionally change recording settings (Settings). Close the window and click Record. The recording starts, which can be interrupted by pressing Stop. At the same time will open the folder with the file of your recording.
