Compote from plums

Prepare sugar syrup for the compote of plums. For this, heat water, pour into it the sugar per 1 liter of water 300 g. If you have sour plum, sugar, you can put more. Boil syrup.

Wash the plums, remove the stalk. Put the plums in clean, sterilized jars. From the amount of draining will depend on the taste of the compote. You can fill the cans almost full, but only one-third. Pour plum syrup and cover with tin cans boiled lids.

Put on sterilization. For this pre-heat a large pan of water to approximately the temperature of the syrup in jars. This is to ensure that the glass does not burst. Lower the jars with compote in a saucepan. Then turn on the fire and heat the water to a boil, then note the time. After 30 minutes cover the roll.

Turn jars, cover with blanket and leave to cool. The next day the finished compote with plums store it away safely, preferably in a cool place.

Kompot-Assorti

To prepare the compote-assorted, you will need a large red plum, pair of sweet fragrant apples, such as "Jonathan", and any cherry. Prepare in advance banks, for that treat them with steam. Cover boil.

Wash the fruit. Plums are free from bones, cut in half. Apples cut into slices, remove the middle with seeds. Fill cans with fruit to half. Heat water to a boil and pour into banks under the neck. Cover with the lids. After 5 minutes drain the water in a separate pan, stir in the sugar and bring to a boil. Pour the fruit syrup and the banks roll up. Turn upside down and wrap for the best sterilization.
