You will need
  • For the wings on a cardboard base:
  • - cardboard;
  • white paper or cloth;
  • - PVA glue and brush;
  • - gum (about 1 m);
  • - sintepon;
  • - feathers: feathers/white tissue paper/white fur/feather boa/white silk and thin wire/white satin.
  • The wings on the frame basis:
  • - wire frame;
  • white nylon tights or sheer tulle;
  • - needle and thread;
  • - elastic band.
  • - a pair of scissors.

The wings on a cardboard base. Determine the optimal size and shape of angel wings using measurements of the figure. You can directly on the figure draw the curve of the wing, attaching thereto a sheet of paper. Consider what appearance they will have when you look at the person in front.

Cut according to the obtained patterns of the two wings of the same item of cardboard. Glue the cardboard with white paper or cloth.

On the inner side of the wings firmly glue or sew two elastics (the type of shoulder straps of a backpack) at a distance of the width of the back from each other so that the wings can be easy to wear. The point of attachment of the straps mask with white paper.

Then apply one or two layers of batting. Cut out detail with a large seam allowance on all sides, glue it to a cardboard base and then cut out the wings along the contour, cutting off the excess batting – so the edges of the wings will be smooth.

There are economical and very effective way of making feathers for inner wings. Take white silk (natural or artificial), and cut out the strips according to the size of the feathers you need.
