The main criteria by which one can create a psychological portrait of the person, are:

1. character (establishes sustainable human characteristics that define its behavior in different situations);

2. temperament;

3. self-esteem;

4. intelligence;

5. the level of emotionality.
Psychologists have identified a different number of character types. For example, K. Leonhard allocates demonstrative characters getting stuck, pedantic and excitable. The main features of demonstrative personality - committing acts under the influence of emotions, the ability to get by (sometimes self -) images. Pedantic people, by contrast, is not affected by emotions, scrupulous, do not know how to "play", it is difficult to make decisions. "Stuck" people - those who most difficulty processing his own emotions and experiences. They are difficult to forget both success and resentment, constantly replaying them in my memory (including even the far-fetched progress and resentment). They basically live experience inside events more than real. People with excitable character look conspicuous, but they are more conflicted, don't know how to use the circumstances for their own purposes and roles to play. It's like just very neurotic people, tired, irritable.
Temperament quite simply, it characterizes the mobility of human behavior, decision-making speed. Temperament people are divided into 4 types: choleric, phlegmatic, sanguine, melancholic. Sanguine and phlegmatic have a strong nervous system, however, phlegmatic, inert and indecisive, and sanguine enough to excite. Nervous system the choleric is extremely unbalanced, although it cannot be called weak. Hot-headed doesn't know when the "brake pedal", it should always be, always doing something. The melancholic has a weak nervous system, nervous, sensitive, prone to deep inner experiences that drain his nervous system even more.
Self-esteem can be normal, low or high. It is very subject to change, for example due to the onset of a certain age. Most teenagers suffer from low self-esteem, but it mostly takes place when they become adults, will achieve some significant successes, enabling them to see themselves differently and be less dependent on other people's opinions.
Intelligence allows a person to assess the situation, to highlight significant and insignificant, to make decisions and to adjust their behavior. Through the intellect a person can function more or less effectively. The level of intelligence depends on the age, education, social circle, etc.
Emotions arise against the will of man, the objective of any - to be able to control them, which is necessary for social behavior and for physical health. It is noticed that more healthy people have the ability to control their emotions. However, you must remember that control emotions, to control them does not mean to hide them, to drive inside: they often become more acute from such actions. The level of emotionality of a person depends on the ability to manage emotions.
Even if we think we have a clear psychological portrait of a man, it does not mean that we can absolutely rely on him. First, each person is still unique. Second, people change with age, under the influence of various life circumstances.
