Call up the service menu item of the desktop "My computer" click right mouse button on the shortcut and click "Properties".

Click on the "Remote sessions" and uncheck on the "allow users to connect remotely to this computer" under "Remote desktop control".

Click OK to confirm the selected changes.An alternative way to disable remote access is using the local group policy.

Click "start" to bring up the main menu system and navigate to "Run" to run the command line tool.

Enter the value gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK to execute the command.

Open "computer Configuration" in group policy Editor" and go to "Administrative templates".

Select "Windows Components" and click "terminal Services".

Double-click on the field policy "Allow remote connection using terminal services" and set the value to "Enabled".

Click OK to confirm the command.

Return to the "start menu" and click "configure" to disable remote client access.

Open the administrative tools double click and open the same by double-clicking the link "Routing and remote access".

Select the Clients node of the remote access. Where? in the console tree of the Routing and remote access/servername/Clients remote access.

Call up the service menu user click the right mouse button on the desired name and click "Disable".

Restart the computer to apply the selected changes disable remote access to the computer.
