How to recover damaged video file

Fortunately, there are programs with which help it is possible to recover corrupted video files of almost any formats. One such program is called All Media Fixer. Download it from the Internet and install it on your computer. Utility is free.

Run the program. Carefully read the interface. Before you start the repair file, you must add it to the program window. To do this, select in the menu File, then go to the tab Add file. In the resulting window, specify the path to the video file that you want to correct. Click on it with the left mouse button, then from the bottom of the window, click on the Open command. Now the video file attached to the program window.

Next, pay attention to the toolbar, which is located at the top of the program window. Select the tool called " Start check and fix by pressing on it with the left mouse button. There will be another window which will display the process of finding problems and correcting the file. Its duration depends on the type and capacity of the selected video file. In some cases, this process can exceed one hour.

After this report is released about the program. In the program window is restored, the file will be ticked. Go to the folder containing the video file. Now in that folder there are two copies of it. The first copy is itself damaged video file and the second copy of a file that has been restored by the program.

Fixed open the file and see if the program to correct errors. It is desirable to view the entire file. If it plays normally, without errors, then the restore operation was successful. Then the damaged copy of the file can delete, as it is, you no longer need.
