Instruction
1
There are, of course, the oldest and time-tested method of transferring contacts to your new device via the sim card, copy contents back to pre-contact books of the old phone. Unfortunately, this method is not all suitable due to the limited memory on the sim card, problems with Russian encoding and the lack (at present) the input fields for the contact. This way, perhaps you can leave in the most extreme case.
2
If you have the opportunity to use the computer as a mediator between devices (that is, both have the ability to connect and access the phone book), everything becomes much simpler. It remains only to transfer the contact list into a format that is understandable to both machines. For example, in Microsoft Outlook format.
3
To extract data from your old machine (if it is not a Communicator and do not have this ability by default) will help you third-party programs (for example, for Nokia it will Nokia PCSuite).
4
Save data on PC and synchronize them with the new device.
5
In some cases (for example, the transition from Windows Mobile to the Android platform) you can avoid the use of computer mediation and use multiplatform software intended for these purposes (for example - Sprite Migrate).
6
If your machine allows, you can use a remote data synchronization service like the one provided by the company Google.
7
If we are talking about changing the device within the same platform, you can simply make a backup you are interested in data on external media or your computer, and then restore them on the new phone.
