Modern electric kettles are most commonly used heaters of the tubular type. The ends of the heater are displayed on the strip located on the side surface of the body of the kettle. Of course, the types of heating elements may differ from each other.
2
First of all, remember that appliances for heating and boiling of water cannot be included in a network without this water. Violation of this rule inevitably leads to burnout of the heating element and breakage of the casing of the kettle.
3
Often can be seen as the hostess pours water into the empty kettle, already included in the electrical network. To do so is strongly not recommended. First fill the kettle with water, and is the quantity required. Almost all the dummies are on the case timeline indicating the minimum and maximum amount of water. Failure to follow these rules may eventually bring the kettle down.
4
Feature heating element is that with frequent use of water containing a water network, the set of trace elements, it periodically needs to be descaled. Cleaning the heating element spend using specially designed chemicals. It is impossible to clean off limescale by scraping it will cause damage to the appliance.
5
If your suddenly failed kettle operated correctly and has no visible signs of faults on the enclosure or heating element, a possible cause of failure may be breakage of the wires of the cord.
6
Unplug the kettle from the mains and check the electrical connection between the terminal plug. Probable cliff can be found using the tester. This fault is eliminated by restoring the electrical connections or the replacement cord is operating correctly.
7
If the failure is directly related to failure of the heating element, do not try to repair yourself. This requires some qualification. Note that carelessly executed repairs of the appliance can result in big and expensive trouble. To resolve serious breakdowns should include the kettle to a service centre.
